Tighten cap & shake bottle. Holding the bottle upright partially unscrew the cap, gently squeeze bottle sides, until the liquid reaches the base of the neck. Release the pressure on the bottle. The measure remaining in the dosage chamber is sufficient to treat: 25ml - 1800 litres(400 Imp. galls.) 50ml - 3600 litres(800 Imp. galls.)

What causes high pH? - pH is the measure of acidity or alkalinity. Many factors influence the pH of your pond including tap water. If the pH of your pond is above 8.5, it is unsafe for your fish and you need Waterlife's Lower pH.

Other causes of an increased pH include; exposure to untreated concrete or cement, pointing on paving slabs around the pond or old house bricks.

To test a suspect material, pour a small amount of vinegar over the object in question. If the item 'fizzes', it is leaching carbonates, which raises pH; should this occur remove or seal the offending material.

Green water can be another cause of a high pH. in this instance, lower the pH to below 8.5 and treat the water with Waterlife's Algizin G to clarify the pond.

Waterlife's Lower pH will not reduce pH levels below 6.5 if used as directed.

Lower pH is safe with ornamental pond fish, plants and filtration bacteria.
